The Tactical Handgun III course is designed enhance participants combat effectiveness in low light environments. The course will focus on identifying and managing threats in a low-light environment.  It will teach the user how to use lighting to a tactical advantage. 

The course will be broken down into three major components which can be seen below:


  • Tactical shooting simulator
  • Flashlight operations and room clearing
  • Force on Force training with Simunitions


Topics to be covered:

  • Sighted vs. unsighted fire
  • Use of weapon mounted lights
  • Use of tactical handheld lights
  • Gun-fighting in low-light environments
  • Use of cover and concealment
  • Moving and shooting
  • Room clearance
  • Weapon retention






In order for any citizen to be issued a permit to carry a concealed weapon or firearm in the State of Florida, they must meet the training requirement established in Florida State Statute 790.06. The Carrying Concealed Weapon (CCW) training course will provide you with that and much more. Our course is designed to ensure each participant is not only competent with the weapon he or she has chosen to carry, but is also comfortable with that weapon to the degree necessary to ensure its proper and efficient application or use.

Olson Combat System Intermediate Pistol Courses

The Tactical Handgun II course is designed enhance participants combat effectiveness with handguns. Participants will become intimately familiar with their handgun, and how to effectively utilize it at combat distances for self-defense and home protection. This course will focus on the balance between speed and accuracy, and tactical live fire movements. This course is designed to help you to embrace your body’s natural reactions to stress during a combative situation.

  • Weapon nomenclature and mechanics
  • Sighted vs. unsighted fire
  • Tactical and combat reloads
  • Use of cover and concealment
  • Weapon malfunction drills
  • Moving and shooting
  • Multiple targets
  • Strong hand only shooting

The Olson Combat System Intro to Semi-Automatic Pistols is designed to train participants in the safe and efficient application of semi-automatic handguns. Participants will become intimately familiar with the semi-automatic handgun, and how to effectively discharge the weapon. Participants will be required to demonstrate proficiency/accuracy and in identifying and clearing various weapon malfunctions.

  • Weapon nomenclature
  • Operator Level — weapon break down and assembly
  • Operator Level — weapon care and maintenance
  • Weapon Safety
  • Weapon malfunctions (causes and clearance)
